Win a Kindle...for Yourself or Someone Else!

Wish you had a Kindle? Maybe you already have one and would like to give one to someone else...? Well, here's your chance. Help me get the word out about book three of the Extreme Devotion series from New Hope Publishers--RED INK--and you just might win one! I need reviews of Red Ink on Amazon and CBD (and anywhere else you'd like to post it, including your own blog if you have one), so post one and you've taken the first step toward being entered to win. Then, if you aren't already a follower of this blog, click on "follow" so you will be. Finally, email me at ezyrtr@ca.rr.com to let me know you've entered and how to reach you if you're the winner. This contest will continue throughout the month of October, with a drawing for the winner in early November (in plenty of time for Christmas!), so get busy with the most important step in becoming a winner: get a copy of RED INK and read it! I would really appreciate it, gang!!!

Ever need a Friend in the Storm???

I just got back from Philadelphia and went to the mailbox yesterday to see what had accumulated while I was gone. Wow, I was so excited to discover my copies of my dear friend Cheryl Ricker's new book, A Friend in the Storm! In fact, because she sent more than one of these beautiful little gift books, I'm going to give a copy away, so be sure to leave a comment (and contact info), will you? You just might end up with a copy of this lovely yet practical book that will minister to you or someone you know in the midst of one of life's storms. (And who doesn't end up there on occasion--sometimes more often than expected!) This restful and encouraging book is just the right size to carry around, and it's filled with quotes, scripture verses, and poetry, all focused on pointing the reader to "Heaven's healing arms." So leave a comment and then hop on over to www.cherylricker.com to order a copy for yourself--and a couple more for someone who will need it one day soon.

Great devotions for grandmas!

Rebecca Barlow Jordan has done a great job in crafting her daily devotions to speak to those of us who are blessed to be called grandmas. I highly recommend these daily readings, and if you're not a grandma yet, consider buying a copy of this lovely hardbound book for someone who is.
